Using the Manual Camber Gauge and a camber sensor, you can easily measure your vehicle’s camber on all standard rims. To do this, place the camber sensor in the three recesses of the mount as usual and hold it in position using the magnet. Once calibrated on a reference surface, you can start measuring straight away. The measurement is displayed directly on the screen.
- Measuring camber on the rim.
- Comparison of measurements between the scrutineering platform and our own measuring stations in the marquee, pit or workshop.
- Measurements must be comparable to those taken during scrutineering; otherwise, they cannot be compared with the official measurements.
- Changes must be traceable at all times; normally, this is only possible once during the weekend, before the first practice session, using a reference plate provided by the SRO or FIA; after that, changes can no longer be traced.
